-Is a microfiber mop better than a cotton string mop?

 Microfibers is made from synthetic fibers finer than cotton which allow it to trap bacteria, dust and dirt within the fibers instead of spreading them around. Also, as cotton is a natural fiber it holds odors and bacteria.

-Is a microfiber mop better for the environment?

As it uses less water and chemical products than a traditional mops (more than 20 times less water per cleaning) as well as it lasts longer than a traditional cotton mop it makes itself a green product. Compared to a Swiffer it also doesn’t need replacement pads which are later thrown away creating more waste.

-Is a microfiber mop more expensive that a cotton mop, sponge mop, or a mop with disposable cloths?

Though the initial cost of a microfiber mop is higher than a mop with disposable pads, or a cotton string mop, or sponge mop it can last several years longer than either of the aforementioned options with only the possibility of buying more mop pads in the future as they may wear out after 500 washings. In addition, no cleaning solutions, less water, and no replacement parts reduces the overall cost.

-How long can I use a single pad before washing it?

Generally, each pad can clean 500 square feet before needing to be washed.

-How do I clean my mop pads and cloths?

If used for dusting, they can be shaken outside. If used wet on floors, they can be rinsed in the sink, or washed in the wash machine. To extend the life expectancy air drying will give more life to the pads, but they can also be easily dried in the dryer.

-What surfaces can I use my microfiber mop on?

The microfiber mops are safe for all flooring including tile, hardwood, LVP, laminate, and marble. It can also be used on trim, walls, ceilings, windows, and more.

-What are the microfiber cloths for?

The microfiber cloths not only remove all dirt, bacteria, and grime away with water alone, but are perfect for cleaning windows, cars, and all appliances. Simply spray water or your favorite cleaning solution on the item or on the cloth itself and clean away. They are also machine washable, reusable, and in three different colors to avoid cross contamination.

-How do I use the pads or cloths dry?

When dry the microfiber works as a magnet attracting all dust and hair, as well as polishing all surfaces, such as stainless steel and silver. The microfiber pads used dry are great to go behind after wet mopping to dry and polish the floor. When used dry it can be shaken outside to remove dust and be reused or washed.

-Can I use my regular cleaning products with the Pure Fiber mop and cloths?

You can use chemical cleaning products, but water (or water and vinegar or alcohol) can clean and remove even more bacteria and clean better alone. In addition, with chemical products that aren’t suggested to ingest they are still being spread on your floors or surfaces which can be dangerous to pets and small children. Several cleaning products have also been known to cause allergies, cardiovascular disease, asthma, as well as nausea and fatigue.
